SINGAPORE CHARTERED TAX PROFESSIONALS LIMITED

In May 2010, the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals (SIATP) was officially launched.

To date, accredited tax professionals hail from a wide spectrum of Singapore’s economy. Whether the accredited is a tax accountant in practice, a tax lawyer, a tax professional in commence, an academic or a professional applying tax knowledge in the public sector, he is supported by an array of privileges and benefits the tax accreditation offers. These equip him to stand out in the profession with greater tax competency coupled with peer and industry recognition.

The body celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2020 with a new milestone of being an independent body. It is now known as the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals Limited (SCTP) – a reflection of the enhanced engagement with the profession moving forward.

The body continues its dedicated focus on the tax profession encompassing executives and advisors from diverse backgrounds with its mission to raise standards of tax practice, advance the value of tax and overall contribute to the national vision of Singapore being the leading global financial and business hub in Asia.

Through it all, the accredited continues to stand out as the preferred one.
